Loot from Delhi – Makeup and Beauty Haul

Hello there!

I wanted to write A LOT for Beautifour in my summer break from college, but that vacation turned into an impromptu trip to one of my favorite cities, Delhi!
Of course with the sale season going on, I couldn’t stay without shopping and shopped for a lot of accessories & makeup. This post is dedicated to the makeup products that I don’t get here in Amsterdam, but immensely love so I stocked up a bit.

You might be aware of the fact that I love eye products and lip products equally, but I mostly bought eye products on this trip as I have (maybe a bit too) many lip products already.

So this is what I bought! Not much, but a decent lot and these are products which I’ll really use.

Maybelline Baby Lips (Mango Pie, Coral Flush, Cherry Kiss)

Aaaahhh, I don’t know a single girl who doesn’t love these lip balms. I love a bit of color on my lips so I prefer Coral Flush & Cherry Kiss for the sheer color. The Netherlands didn’t sell Baby Lips till August 2013, so reason enough for me to buy it from India.

L’Oreal Super Liner (Instant Impact Felt Liner)

I love pen liners, I have used this one before and it’s perfect to make a wing with. It has a matte finish and is so black!

The Body Shop Soft Musk Antiperspirant Deodorant

I totally love musk and I have been using this deodorant for a long time. Bought it there because it was cheaper and there’s was a 10% off scheme going on.

Colorbar Waterpoof Liquid Eyeliner

Now this is one product I can’t live without. This is the third bottle I am using and after having intensely used it, I can safely add this product to my holy grail list. Its felt tip makes perfect lines and it’s color is carbon black. Please Colorbar, never discontinue this gem from your collection.

Sephora Longwearing Lipstick 12 Maniac

I hate brown lipsticks! They go really well with smokey eyes, but I never found the correct shade I guess. I wanted one for formal days when I have to give presentations and still feel like putting lipstick on. This one has a warm undertone so it goes very well with dusky complexions.

L’Oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss

This liquid liner is new to me and I haven’t used it that much yet. I tried it once and it has a glossy shiny finish, which is a matter of taste. I do use shiny finishes on days when I wear a neutral lip color.

Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner (Blackest Black)

This was such an impulse purchase. That seller must have gotten a salary raise or something thanks to me, because I immediately got excited and swept my card for two of these. Anyway, it does total justice to its name, I haven’t seen *any* eye liner SO black. It’s a pencil liner which has to be occasionally sharpened. I am SO excited about this, will surely review this beautiful product soon.

Lotus Maxlash Waterproof & Volumising Botanical Mascara

This was a purchase I made because I needed a mascara. I don’t have difficult eyelashes so mascaras aren’t a problem for me. This one is good enough, nothing special.

Revlon Nailpaints- number 18 Jelly, 329 Love Her Madly
I love Revlon for their nailpaints! The quality, the structure, the brushes are good. Love Her Madly is one of my most favourite shades, ever! I bought the same colour last year and the bottle fell from my hands and broke, along with my heart, into a million pieces. I wrote down the shade name and jumped when I found exact the same shade in the mall. This shade is really something.

Maybelline Colossal Kajal

This kajal does not need an introduction, right? And the number of kajals I bought signify how much I love it 😀

And this is everything I bought from Delhi! I do have a few things still on the wishlist, which I couldn’t acquire sadly.
Things like Maybelline’s Bold Matte Lipsticks, Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal (Y U be out of stock always?), Revlon Lip butters will be bought when I go to India next. *winks*

What have you tried, what would you like to try? Shall I do a post next of the accessories which I looted from Dilli? Tell us in the comments!

Till then, stay pretty!
Manisha
