Oh how I miss wearing knee high boots! Unfortunately our humid little Bombay does not really agree with boots for most (heck, all) of the year. (I still see some girls wearing fur boots in the Bombay summer. I’d like to interview these girls some time. I’m intrigued).

Thankfully, booties are manageable in the Bombay weather
But I digress. So, as I was saying, boots are awesome, and an essential for fall fashion. And if the weather in your region is conducive to boots, read on.
- When your boots are new, wear them around the house with thick socks. Maybe even two pairs of socks. This WILL be uncomfortable but it’s ok, you’re at home. Do this everyday for a few mins, for a week. Your boots will be stretched out to fit your feet properly!
- Shove a rolled up towel in your boots while they’re lying around. This will stretch them too.
- Use a 1:1 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol and spray on your leather boots. This will make them stretch. The professionals use this method.
- After you’ve done the stretching, wear them around the house at least once so that you can know if they’re still biting you. You don’t want a Monica situation! Unless you have a Chandler.
